The Development, Construction and Permitting Division provides plan review, permitting, and inspection services for all new development and construction within the Poudre Fire Authority jurisdiction. This included modifications to existing buildings, hazmat permitting, mobile food trucks and marijuana facilities. 

Fire Codes

The Poudre Fire Authority jurisdiction encompasses areas of both Larimer and Weld Counties, as well as the City of Fort Collins and the Town of Timnath. It is the responsibility of the applicant and his/her contractors to be familiar with the adopted codes that apply to their project. Please make sure if there is any confusion or uncertainty about the requirements for your project, you contact PFA to discuss your specific project requirements as early as possible to avoid project delays.
