The offices of Fire Prevention and Community Risk Reduction at 102 Remington Street, closed to the public as of Monday, March 16, 2020. Our staff is working remotely to provide services to our community and support our public health and safety partners to slow the spread of COVID-19 in northern Colorado and beyond.
At this time, we have temporarily modified inspection availability and procedures. Development and construction review services continue uninterrupted.
The temporary inspection policy can be viewed here: /Home/ShowDocument?id=6263
The Poudre Fire Authority values the relationships we have with our development and construction community. We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this challenging time.
Due to a high volume of inspections, please submit all inspection requests a minimum of two business days in advance of your requested inspection date, so we may work to meet applicants' needs as best as possible.
In order to provide our customers the most efficient and expedient service, final inspection requests will only be made online. The requests will be automatically forwarded to the inspector in the order in which they are received, and a PFA inspector will contact you to confirm the inspection date and time.
PFA will assess a re-inspection fee when an inspector has arrived to do an inspection, per your request, and we are unable to complete the inspection because any or all parts were not ready for inspection. The re-inspection fee is as follows: $250 base fee for the first hour; then $75 per hour thereafter.
Please refer to your copy of the PFA permit when submitting for your final inspection, as all of the required information is included on that permit.
A REQUEST FOR AN INSPECTION DATE AND TIME DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT DATE AND TIME. YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION PHONE CALL FROM YOUR INSPECTOR CONFIRMING YOU INSPECTION.
