All candidates for Poudre Fire Authority must take the FireTeam test and submit their score via National Testing Network (NTN) to PFA during the time we are accepting scores. 

 All candidates invited to the first interview must present a valid CPAT card or certificate at the time of their interview or they will not be allowed to interview.

 All candidates invited to the Administrative interview must have a current and valid Colorado EMT-B or above or will not be allowed to interview.

 

All candidates must maintain a valid Colorado EMT-B and CPAT for the duration of the list in order to stay on the eligibility list.

 

Oct. 1, 2018 - Poudre Fire Authority starts accepting scores through NTN.  If you have taken the NTN test prior to PFA opening our process you can submit your scores to us, if you take the test after PFA opens our process you must select us as one of your agencies to submit to when you sign up for the test.

Jan. 31, 2019 - Poudre Fire Authority stops accepting scores through NTN.

Feb. 2019 - NTN provides all final test scores and PHQs from candidates to PFA. Any candidate who has not completed their PHQ will be excluded from the hiring process.

Feb. 2019 - PFA will send out letters notifying all candidates if they are moving forward in the process. Those who are being invited to continue will receive a letter clearing stating all deadlines for PFA applications, and links to PFA applications that must be filled out.

February and March 2019 - All candidates invited to continue in the hiring process will fill out a PFA specific application. No late applications will be accepted. The due date for all applications will be in included with the invite to continue in the process.

April 2019 - First round interviews will be held. Any candidate who arrives late to their interview, or does not bring a current and valid CPAT, will be removed from the hiring process and will not receive an interview.</

May 2019 - Second round interviews. No late interviews will be given.

May 2019 - All candidates will be notified of their placement in the process.

Spring 2019 Administrative interviews. All candidates must have valid Colorado EMT-B at this time. No late interviews will be given.
