Poudre Fire Authority is accepting applications for firefighters in 2018 and 2019. We began accepting test scores through the National Testing Network on Oct. 1, 2018, and will continue through Jan. 31, 2019. All dates are subject to change.

If you are local to Poudre Fire Authority both Front Range Community College in Fort Collins and Aims Community College in Windsor are offering the test on a variety of dates. Check dates and select what works best for you on the NTN test site.
Poudre Fire Authority will send out a link for the PFA application to all applicants who are being invited to move forward in the process based on test scores. This will be sent via email in February 2019.

The Poudre Fire Authority offers individuals the ability to come to the fire station and "Ride-a-long" with a crew. Starting Oct. 1, 2018, no one who is applying for the introductory firefighter position with PFA in 2018/2019 is eligible to ride with the exception of EMT students and current PFA volunteers.
