Firefighters comprise the majority of Poudre Fire Authority's (PFA) staff, but many more people in a variety of positions are needed to keep the agency running and our responders ready.

Non-firefighting, or civilian positions as they are often called, range from fire-safety inspectors and accounting to education specialists and mechanics specially trained to work on fire-related vehicles and apparatus.
