I can't find an address. Can you help?

The best way to find an address is to use the World Wide Web. Many address requests received by Fire Prevention are not within our jurisdiction so we are not able to provide such information. In some cases we may be able to direct you to the appropriate fire department or fire protection district for assistance. Contact us at 970-416-2890. If your request is needed for insurance purposes, we no longer give this information over the phone. We have a new WEB based Fire Station Distance page. I need a copy of a report for an incident I was involved in.

Call 970-416-2874 for a report copy. Copies are $8.50 or $18.50 if photographs are requested. Requests for medical reports must be accompanied by a signed release from the patient. You may also fax your report request to 970-221- 6635 or send an email to sbrann@poudre-fire.org. Payment must be received before release of reports. We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash or checks for this fee.

I need a copy of my last business inspection.

I need a plan reviewed. Who do I contact?

The following link will take you to the permit application page. PFA PERMITS Complete the form and click on the Submit Button at the bottom of the form. You may also print the form and fax to Fire Prevention at 970-221-6635. Plans can also be dropped off at 102 Remington Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524.

I need a Tent Permit.

Tent permit requirements and an application are available at the following link. Please include all necessary information. Once the application is completed, it can be dropped off or mailed to our office at 102 Remington Street, Fort Collins, CO 80524. A fee of $25.00 is required for tent permits. We will also need a copy of the flame certificate for our records. A 72 hour notice for Tent Permit Applications is required and all tent permits require a site inspection. TENT PERMITS

I need to set up a fire drill for my business.

You are welcome to conduct you own fire drills. However, if your building has a fire alarm system please go to our Public Education page. if you would like our assistance please call our Service Request Hotline at 970-416-2757.

I want to burn a pile of branches.

PFA discourages open burning that is not recreational or related to agriculture. Branches may be taken to Hageman’s Inc Earth Cycle at 3501 E. Prospect and dropped off for a small fee. A request for an open burning permit and related regulations may be obtained in person from the Fire Prevention Bureau at 102 Remington. Regulations and permit applications may also be requested by fax at 970-221-6635.

I would like brochures on fire safety.
