Make sure there is as much air going through the rooms as possible. How do I confirm a public education program that is already scheduled?f you are scheduled with an engine company station, call our Administration office at 970-221-6570 and ask to be transferred to the station with which you are scheduled. How do I dispose of an old fire extinguisher?Contact a private company, found in the yellow pages of the phone book under "Fire Extinguishers." How do I dispose of old fireworks?Bring them to the Fire Prevention office at 102 Remington Street, Fort Collins, CO How do I get a burn permit and how long does the review process take?Applications for open burning are taken at the Fire Prevention Bureau, 1st floor at 102 Remington Street. All burn sites are inspected before a permit is issued. The application process can take anywhere from 4 to 10 days. Burn permits are not issued on Thursdays or Fridays and all open burning requires a signed permit. At the present time, there is no charge for burn permits. Completed applications can be faxed to Fire Prevention at 970-221-6635 for review. Click on the following link for more information about OPEN BURNING REGULATIONS. How long before I can get a copy of a fire report?Fire investigations include finishing the written reports take from five days to two weeks depending on the size and complexity of the fire. Call Investigations at 970-416-2890 for information. Arson reports may take much longer. How many sets of plans do you require for building plan review?Two sets. They do NOT need to be stamped.
